1. The infallible, verbal inspiration of the Bible (II Tim. 3:16-17). We also hold to the fact that God has providentially preserved his word in the Hebrew Masoretic Text and the Greek Textus Receptus. We would consider any resultant translation from these texts, in any language, to be God's preserved word in that language. For English speaking people, the Authorized Version (KJV) is God's preserved word, while the Reina Valera (1909, 1960) is God's preserved word for the Spanish speaking people.

2. The Triune God. Matt. 28:19

3. The Genesis account of Creation.

4. The Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ. Matt 1:20

5. The Deity of Jesus Christ. John 10:30

6. The vicarious sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Heb. 2:9

7. That salvation is wholly by grace through faith in Christ. Eph. 2:8, and that all believers are preserved eternally. I Peter 1:15,
John 10:27-30.

8. The bodily resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, and the bodily resurrection of His saints, I Cor.15; the second coming of Jesus Christ, personal and bodily, as the crowning event of this Gentile age, Acts 1:11, to set up His Kingdom on earth to this present day and to rule upon the earth one thousand years.

9. The Bible doctrine of eternal punishment of the finally impenitent. Matt. 25:46

10. A Scriptural church is a visible assembly of baptized believers, covenanted together under the New Testament for the purposes of carrying out the Great Commission, with an unbroken history from the personal ministry of Jesus on earth to this present day.

11. What true Baptists have always believed, that the Great Commission was given to the churches only, that in kingdom activities the church is the only unit in associated work; that each church should exercise equal authority; and that the churches should meet their responsibilities according to their several abilities.

12. All cooperating bodies, such as Associations, Conventions, boards, committees, etc, are and properly should be servants of the churches. Matt. 20:25-28

13. Scriptural Baptism is immersion of believers, administered by a New Testament church; the Lord's Supper is a memorial ordinance, restricted to the faithful church members.

14. That the gift of tongues fulfilled its purpose in the age of the apostles and the infant New Testament Church. This gift was "done away" when the New Testament Scriptures were completed. I Cor.13:8-13.

The academic program of Calvary Baptist Bible College is centered around the Lord Jesus Christ. God's word is interpreted in light of the literal-historical-grammatical method with application to the life and work of individual students as they prepare for the Lord's work.

We recognize the need for a Baptist Bible college, that is part of a local church ministry, to rekindle the fervor and zeal for the ministry, particularly in the pastorate, and on the foreign mission field. Each student majors in Bible, and each major is saturated with Bible and doctrine, which are vital in preparation and training of students for life and ministry.

We hold to a visible, local church which is the body of Christ and has real existence as an organization and executes action as a corporate being.

We teach the Baptist distinctives: The Bible is the only rule for faith and practice; Autonomous church government; Priesthood of all believers; Two offices- pastor and deacons; Individual soul liberty; Saved and immersed church membership; Two scriptural ordinances of the local church- baptism by immersion and the Lord's supper; Separation - of church and state- ethically and ecclesiastically.

We do not accept the philosophy, position, or practice of the National Council of Churches in America, or the World Council of Churches. Furthermore, we are opposed to Liberalism, Neo- Orthodoxy, New Evangelicalism, Hyper-Calvinism, and the Charismatic Movement. The College's position is not to cooperate with any organization or movement which is connected with apostasy or which minimizes the authority of the Word of God. Our goal is to present to our students a clear cut stand on these and any other issues which might have a negative impact on their service in the local church, and then to encourage them to take a similar stand.

We use only the Authorized Version (KJV) in English, the Reina Valera in Spanish, the Textus Receptus in Greek, and the Hebrew Masoretic Text.
